SEIDROB/SPR Award for best Iberian PhD Thesis in Robotics

The Sociedad Española para la Investigación y desarrollo en Robótica (SEIDROB) and the Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica (SPR) convene a prize for the best Iberian PhD Thesis in the field of Robotics for students who have defended their PhD in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 academic courses, until July 31, 2019.

The prize is endowed with 900 euros for the winner; winner and finalist will also receive an accrediting diploma.

The innovation contributed by the work as well as the experimental validation of the results and the number and quality of the (accepted) publications that have emerged from the PhD that have as authors the student author of the work and the advisor will be evaluated.

NOTE: The student must be a SEIDROB or a SPR student member for the year 2019. The advisor must be an individual SEIDROB or SPR member or, alternatively in the case of SEIDROB, his/her institution must be an institutional partner.

TFGROB

The winner of the award TFGROB 2014 to the best end of studies project on robotics was Fernando Rubio Perona, directed by Marta Julia Flores Gallego and Jesús Martínez Gómez, from the Universidad de Castilla la Mancha. The award was presented in the “Second Robotics Iberian Robotics Conference” Robot 2015, celebrated in Lisbon on November 19-21 2015.
