The Planning and Learning Group (PLG) at the Computer Science Department of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is opening one postdoctoral position focusing on the application of Reinforcement Learning in Financial Markets.
The selected candidate will work under the scope of the JPMorgan 2020 AI Faculty Award Program. Specifically, in the project entitled “Learning Similarity Metrics Between Simulation and the Real World”. The project aims to define similarity metrics between simulated and actual world based on Reinforcement Learning concepts, achieving important contributions in the capability to learn and deploy action policies in the real world from knowledge acquired previously in simulation.
The research for this Posdoctoral Position will involve:
- Design of algorithms for Multi-task learning
- Analysis of applications of Reinforcement Learning in the Financial Markets
- Development of Reinforcement Learning solutions in Multi-agent scopes
- Development of similarity metrics for knowledge transfer from simulation to real world
The successful candidate will be offered a salary commensurate to experience and skills, ranging from 35k to 40K euros.
