An event integrated into ** Robotica 2019 **
        the 19th RoboCup Portugal Open
== Important! ==
Submission deadline: February, 8th, 2019.
== General Information ==
The IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions gathers participants from academia and industry working in the field of autonomous robotics and related areas. It is organized within the 19th Portuguese Robotics Open, a RoboCup-sponsored local event. ICARSC 2019 will take place at Porto – Gondomar, Portugal, April 24-26, 2019.
The conference is organized by the University of Porto – Faculty of Engineering, INESC-TEC, LIACC, CISTER, P.Porto and by the Portuguese Society for Robotic. ICARSC has long been an IEEE co-sponsored event with its proceedings indexed in IEEExplore and in Scopus. Moreover, similarly to previous editions, special sections in top, indexed journals will be set up to accommodate the publication of extended versions of selected papers.
ICARSC is typically organized in a single track to favor discussion and interactions, accompanied by poster sessions and keynote speeches. Contributions from the academy, industry, and outputs from the collaboration between industrial and academic R&D units are welcome.
ICARSC 2019 will feature invited talks from Bruno Siciliano (PRISMA Lab, University of Naples Federico II, Italy) on “Robotic Dynamic Manipulation”, Pedro U. Lima (Institute for Systems and Robotics, Instituto Superior Técnico, U. Lisbon, Portugal) on “Robot Competitions Driving Robotics Research” and Gerhard Kraetzschmar (B-IT Bonn-Aachen International Center of Information Technology, Germany) on “Developing Professional Robotic Service Applications”.

== Submission Guidelines ==
Submission Guidelines
The working language is English, only. Authors are invited to submit original research contributions electronically, in PDF format, via EasyChair:
Submitted papers should be up to six pages in total, in the IEEE conference format, following the standard IEEE guidelines.
Reviewing for ICARSC 2019 will be *double blind* so authors must remove their names from the submitted papers and should take reasonable care not to indirectly disclose their identity.
Accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation, which requires that at least one of the authors must register at the Conference and present the paper. Failure to meet this requirement will imply removing the paper from the online version of the proceedings.
