SEIDROB continúa con la organización de eventos
ERF 2020 en Málaga
El European Robotics Forum (ERF202020), el evento más influyente de la comunidad robótica en Europa, se celebrará en su próxima edición en Málaga, del 3 al 5 de marzo de 2020. Con la participación de más de 1.000 expertos europeos, este evento está concebido como un punto de encuentro para investigadores, ingenieros y emprendedores. Los temas tratados incluyen los últimos avances técnicos, las aplicaciones más innovadoras de las empresas, la creación de empleo y las necesidades de la sociedad, pero también cuestiones frontera como la colaboración entre humanos y robots, o las iniciativas en curso en el ámbito de la robótica en Europa.
El futuro de la financiación europea también estará presente, ya que funcionarios de financiación pública de toda Europa participarán para discutir el empuje tecnológico y la atracción del mercado (technology push frente a market pull), así como la forma de acelerar la innovación en robótica. El ERF2020 es una oportunidad para escuchar la opinión de la Comisión Europea, pero también para hacerse oír e influir en los responsables de la toma de decisiones.
En resumen, es la mayor ventana para la sociedad, el mundo académico y la industria en el campo de la robótica europea. El año 2020 será clave para el futuro de la investigación en Europa, dado que se está preparando el lanzamiento del nuevo programa marco, Horizon EUROPE. En este contexto, asistirán al FER2020 funcionarios y comisarios de la Comisión Europea, así como representantes de los grupos y empresas más relevantes a nivel europeo. ROBOT 2019
ROBOT’2019 – Fourth Iberian Robotics Conference will be held in Porto, Portugal, on November 20-22, 2019.
The conference is organized by SPR – Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica and SEIDROB – Sociedad Española para la Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica and will be held within the premises of the School of Engineering of the Porto Polytechnic.
Conference Scope
ROBOT’2019 main goal is to continue the precedent efforts in showing the robotic research and development of new applications in the Iberian Peninsula. Although focused on the works developed at Iberia, the conference is open for good quality submissions from any country in the world.
ROBOT’2019 will feature technical and social programs. The technical program is organized around a main track and a set of Special Sessions, and will also comprise plenary talks from internationally recognized robotics researchers. All articles submitted for inclusion in the conference will be peer reviewed before acceptance.
It is envisaged that all accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings, which will be published by Springer – Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series, indexed by Thomson ISI Web of Knowledge and SCOPUS, as well as on CD/flash drive, subject to registration of at least one author for presenting the work.
A selection of the conference presented best papers will also be recommended for publication as extended versions in Special Issues from international top Journals.

Tutorial on Aerial Robotic Manipulation at IROS 2018
The Robotics, Vision and Control group (GRVC) of the University of Seville organizes a full-day tutorial on Aerial Robotic Manipulation at the IROS 2018 conference, that will be held in Madrid on October 5th, 2018. The tutorial provides an introduction to the theory and practice of aerial manipulation. Aerial manipulators are aerial robots with attached mechatronic devices as robotic arms or grippers, which are able to grasp, transport, position and manipulate objects and apply forces to the environment. The design, control and sensing of aerial manipulators present differences and challenges with respect to aerial robots that are the focus of this tutorial.
The mechatronic design of aerial manipulators is severely limited by the payload of the aerial platform. Installing arms with several DOFs involves the use of compact actuators, which also constraint the payload of the arm itself and its capacity to apply forces. Then, aerial manipulator controllers have to deal with the dynamic coupling of the movement of the arms, the disturbances of the contact forces and the weight of grasped objects. Additionally to the usual sensors in aerial robots, proprioceptive sensing of the state of the arms and mechanical devices is important for controller development. As aerial manipulators fly and interact closely with the environment, perception for estimation of relative pose with respect to the objects and the environment is critical. This tutorial aims at addressing all these issues from a practical point of view, introducing the different problems and presenting solutions that have been tested in practice in different applications.

ROBOT’2017: Third Iberian Robotics Conference November 22-24, 2017 Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería, Sevilla (Spain)
ROBOT´2017 (https://grvc.us.es/robot2017/) follows the First Iberian Robotics Conference held in Madrid in 2013 and the Second Iberian Robotics Conference held in Lisbon in 2015. These previous and successful events, both from the viewpoint of their scientific and technical quality, and for the important number of attending
delegates, have motivated us in organizing ROBOT 2017.
The conference will explore the future of robotics and relations of Robotics with other fields in its frontiers. The conference will include a Round
Table organized by CDTI to discuss the industrial collaboration and to present success stories of these collaborations.
As in previous editions, the conference proceedings will be published by Springer – Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Series, indexed by

Workshop “Robótica y sistemas no tripulados para aplicaciones de seguridad”
El próximo 2 de Diciembre, en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid (José Gutiérrez Abascal, 2), se celebrará el Workshop “Robótica y sistemas no tripulados para aplicaciones de seguridad” organizado por la Red Española de Robótica y Mecatrónica (REDROM) y la Sociedad Española de Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica (SEIDROB).
El Programa incluye una primera sesión con presentaciones de organismos gubernamentales y cuerpos de seguridad en la que intervendrán el CDTI que presentará las oportunidades en el H2020, la Agencia Estatal de Seguridad del MINECO, que presentará los programas españoles, así como representantes de la Policía Nacional, la Guardia Civil y el Sistema de Observación y Prospectiva Tecnológica del Ministerio de Defensa.
En la segunda sesión las empresas presentarán sus sistemas y aplicaciones. El Programa incluye presentaciones de INDRA, GMV, NAVANTIA, EVERIS, ISDEFE e IN-NOVA.
En la tercera sesión miembros de la red y SEIDROB presentarán sus resultados de investigación y desarrollo.
Finalmente, en la cuarta sesión, los asistentes podrán presentar sus sistemas y tecnologías. Invitamos a todos los interesados a asistir y, si tienen resultados sobre métodos, tecnologías y aplicaciones, presentarlos en el Workshop.

Workshop «Robótica para aplicaciones de inspección y mantenimiento»
El próximo 7 de julio de 2016 se celebrará en Madrid el Workshop «Robótica para aplicaciones de inspección y mantenimiento» organizado por la «Red Española de Robótica y Mecatrónica (REDROM)» y la «Sociedad Española de Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica (SEIDROB)», en colaboración con proyectos H2020. El Programa incluye, ademas de las sesiones dedicadas al H2020 (Anne Bajart, Comisión Europea y Reinhard Lafrenz, Secretario General de euRobotics) y a la financiación en España (Enrique Pelayo y Carlos Toledo del CDTI), dos sesiones con presentaciones, que fueron seleccionadas entre las propuestas dentro del plazo establecido, sobre aplicaciones y tecnologías robóticas relevantes para inspección y mantenimiento, incluyéndose 4 presentaciones de empresas, 3 presentaciones de Centros Tecnológicos y 5 presentaciones de Universidades y CSIC.
ROBOT 2015
El Second Iberian Robotics Conference (Robot 2015) tuvo lugar en Lisboa (Portugal) del 19 al 21 de Noviembre de 2015 y también obtuvo un importante éxito. El organizador local fue la Sociedade Portuguesa de Robótica.
